It is big tree of Ako in this the precincts of Matsuo Shrine that subtropical plants grow thick around Cape Ashizuri, and can say representative.
Tree which lets Ako is parasitic on parent tree with evergreen of the moraceous plant fig genus and drips patience and finally covers parent tree exhaustively and wither and die.

There is rare "Ako holding stone" which held stone in the beach of the port east side of Matsuo area district.
